Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday.
Each day you place yourself in the world you gain experience. You reach out to others, others reach out to you. We share thoughts, we share ideas through novel new age advancements. These thoughts and ideas become analogous to knowledge.
Selflessness is a core concept that is shared within cultures and across and across religions. Holy Scriptures write of mythical heroes, characters that give way to the growth of the masses through inhuman actions, some in unfathomable ways. To achieve these feats is seeming to be, legend.
It is the tendency for beings to conceptualize reality in understandable ways, ways that aid in implementing action plans, routing for success. Typically in todays age of multitudinous pathways, a paved path is hard to find. Being selfless is a stepping stone towards achieving a path of prosperity and independence. Without this trait, many find it difficult to maintain an effective solution in times of difficulty.
Religion can always represent selflessness in a light that illuminates these paths well traveled. Making the conscious judgment on, what the path entails. That is a short side of selflessness that religion represents. As it is a path more commonly travelled, novel intuition is hard to come by.
The growth of a mind towards a goal is to be selfless. To be growing always, paradoxically, allows deeper appreciation of one’s accomplishments—not in terms of pride, but in terms of genuine, earned understanding. Selfless growth will make you much more aware of achievements through personal effort. Being aware of the relationships with a self is the penultimate deduction for selfless growth.
This is just my take on the word, in an age of growing knowledge and shared access. It’s a word we can all appreciate.
